Le partage d’Orion
Negotiate, organise, persuade: geopolitics is lived before it is explained.
1 day25 to 70 playersIn person

Le partage d’Orion is a serious game that introduces the fundamental concepts of geopolitics and negotiation between states. Players take on the role of ambassadors gathered at a diplomatic summit in the aftermath of a conflict. They negotiate territories and resources, and use the diplomatic weapons at their disposal to leave the summit in the best possible position.
What players experience
A day of negotiation, strategy and, above all, team organisation. Each delegation divides up the roles, coordinates and defends its interests against the others.
What participants take away
- The basic principles of geopolitics
- The practice of negotiation
- How to organise roles within a team of up to 10 players
Who is it for?
Business school and higher education students. Secondary school students in the HGGSP specialty or in MUN.
MUN = Model United Nations. HGGSP = the French secondary school specialty in history, geography, geopolitics and political science.
Going further
The next day, an optional half-day to return to geopolitics by linking it to what participants experienced the day before. The experience becomes the basis for the theory. The game can also be played on its own, simply as team building.
